Berlin East Side Gallery: Discover our new neighbourhood
Our newest hotel in Berlin at the East Side Gallery is located between Berlin Ostbahnhof and Warschauer Straße in Friedrichshain.
We would like to introduce you to the immediate surroundings and show you which must-sees are within walking distance of the hotel.
View towards Berlin Mitte from the Oberbaumbrücke, which connects the trendy districts Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. Behind the black skyscraper, not far from the Mercedes Benz Arena, lies the MEININGER Hotel. 😉
Here is the view to the other side of the Oberbaumbrücke, which leads directly to Warschauer Straße, where the Berlin nightlife pulsates with bars and clubs. By the way, the world-famous Berghain is only a few minutes walk from the hotel. * WhoopWhoop *: D
Hungry? The “Burgermeister”, located directly on the Kreuzberg side of the Oberbaumbrücke, is a must for all burger lovers! Check out the video but be careful: Don’t watch the video with a empty stomach! ^^
Right next to the hotel is this artwork by the artist JR. JR has portrayed elderly people all over Berlin and put them on walls. He calls the project “The Wrinkles of the City”
And of course everyone knows this piece of art! The East Side Gallery, which gives the hotel its name.
