Venice: the Floating City
Venice, the floating city in northeastern Italy, is a place like no other. Known for its interesting network of canals and stunning architecture, Venice has been a popular destination for centuries. It was built on 118 small islands and is connected by over 400 bridges. Such a unique city in both design and location!
The canals of Venice are the city’s most famous feature and the main means of transportation. Gondolas, the traditional Venetian boats, are a popular way to explore the city and its secrets while offering a one-of-a-kind perspective of the city and its overall charm. 🛶
