Leipzig’s oldest outdoor swimming area, with over 150 years of history, is located west of the old town, it’s just a 20-minute walk from our hotel in the city center of Leipzig. It includes three pools, several large reclining areas, a children’s playground, small sports facility, restaurants, a changing room and sanitary area. A perfect place for a refreshment during the summer days!
#2 Parkeisenbahn Auensee
The proximity of the lake Auensee to the city makes it a favorite summer destination. If you have the family with you, take the miniature park steam train for a ride around the lake. The best thing about the miniature steam railway “Parkeisenbahn Auensee”: the train is always run by the kids.
